| General Reports: | Detailed Lists: |
Note: this report was updated after the election due to amendments filed by the candidate (after the election) disclosing contributions that should have been reported prior to the general election on 4/2/02. These amendments involved 16 contributions totaling $1,075.00 dated from 3/12/02 to 3/28/02. Three of the amendment contributions were from the candidate to his own campaign and amounted to $400.00 .
Mr. Braddy's expenditure report showed that $3,014.17 in expenditures were made on 3/29/02. On that same day he had reported the balance in his campaign treasury to be $1,534.64. His treasury balance of 3/29/02 increased to $2,939.34 following the amendments he filed after the election. Florida election law does not allow a candidate to spend money or to committment to spending money that is not on deposit in their campaign bank account.
Mr. Braddy has acknowleged and claimed responsibility for these mistakes. With the exception of the contributions listed in his two amendments, he was timely in the disclosure of his campaign contributors.
The zip code listed for each contribution was used to determine the whether the contribution came from Gainesville. This report errs on the side of local Gainesville contributions. Some zip codes include areas within and outside the Gainesville city limits. If a zip code includes Gainesville residents, all contributions from that zip code are considered as coming from within Gainesville.

Candidates may contribute any amount of their own money toward their own campaign. Party Executive Committees (such as the Democratic Party or Republican Party) may not contribute more than $50,000 total to any one candidate during any one election. Campaign contributions from any other individual or entity, including PACs and CCEs, may not exceed $500 total per election period. There are two election periods in this race, therefore the maximum allowed total donation is $1,000 from these sources.

The above reports were derived from campaign contribution data retrieved from the Alachua County Supervisor of Elections web site or office on the date I obtained it. Although much care was given to provide accurate statistics, I can provide no guarantee that the information reported above is accurate.
